My Overall score: 4.2/5
Ordered:
- Mango/Strawberry ($12… they add like $1-2 for having split flavours from the fruit bingsoo!)
- Green tea ($13)
- Watermelon ($16)

By far one of the top bingsoo places in Edmonton! I’m a big sucker for mountains of fruit and they do layers of it throughout the bingsoo so it’s not just a heap of “snow” left when you finish eating the top!

Presentation: 3.7/5
I love the colours, they really know how to play with contrasting colours etc. And I like how they place fruit layers within the “snow” layers. The only thing that really bugs me is they don’t clean up the sides (you’ll see a better example of what I mean when you scroll down).
Health: 4.5/5
Well we mainly got fruit bingsoos… not really unhealthy… other than the added condensed milk, whip cream and red bean paste. But it’s not that bad haha.

Atmosphere/location: 4.5/5
This place can get quite busy and you may find yourself without a spot. Though we did go in summer, not sure how winter will be like. This place can seat around 35-40 comfortably! Definitely a cute place to bring a date or hang with a group of friends.
It’s located downtown so it’s nice and close to other things and open bit later than other places, pretty sure past 11. Though once again, parking is the one thing you’ll be trying to find.
Cost: 4/5
It’s pretty average compared to other bingsoo places. Though for the amount of fruit you get I’d say it’s pretty good. And it’s nice that they have two different sizes! The seasonal bingsoo was a bit more costly though.
Taste: 4.5/5

Green Tea
This had red beans, Korean traditional rice cakes (I’d call it mochi… but this is what they said, so we’ll go with that) and green tea powder. BE CAREFUL, this comes with almond slices and they don’t warn you, so you need to make sure you ask them to leave it out when you order. Also, many people think the tan/beige powder on the rice cakes is ground peanut powder but it’s actually roasted soybean flour (Kinako).
If you have a look at the “snow,” it kind of blends together like finely ground ice in a slurpee? But blended together so it sticks like ice cream? That’s the best way I can describe it for now XD.

Mango/Strawberry:
See what I meant about the sides?!
What I like is that the fruits don’t have that icy (half defrosted) texture on it. I’m still debating whether they use freshly-cut fruits (I think the strawberries are definitely frozen though). But whatever they’re doing, keep it up!

Watermelon:
We all cannot explain how good this was… especially on a hot summer day. It was just so refreshing! This is HUGE, so I recommend sharing with 4 people… or 2 if you’re really hungry.
Service: 3.5/5
The service was average. You get your food at your table. The only thing was I wish they were a bit more prepared in knowing their menu.

Cheers to these amazing and beautiful women. (I came after work… or else I’d like to be in comfy clothing like everyone else hehe)
