Edmonton
1. Nudoru Ramen Bar (I)
We were off to Whyte and decided to try out this ramen place people were raving about! I’m in love with the noodles… thick, house-made noodles that cling together to hold up the soup! Just lovely. D’:
3. Ikki Izakaya (I)
GUESS WHAT. THIS PLACE HAS A GIANT MOTSU-DON FOOD CHALLENGE (Really tempting lol. If you finish within 45 minutes, you receive a free T-shirt and you don’t pay! This place is awesome for just a nice day of drinking with friends and some snacks. Not as much as a place to fill you up though!
5. Double Greeting Wonton House (I)
Looking for cheap, yummy, Chinese food, with HUNDREDS of items on its menu? Look no further. UGH come to me.
10. HanJan (I)
Lovely Korean Cafe opened by dear Samuel Lee! So glad to be able to check this place out on it’s first day of opening. I have high hopes for this place! Get the Bulgogi Fries!
12. Blackball 黑丸 (I)
A Taiwanese dessert place in the West side! They specialize in grass jelly desserts. What I love is that they have hot and cold desserts and provide more healthier options (less sugar etc) than other places.
11. Tokiwa Ramen (I)
Nice and convenient ramen place located in the Brewery District next to Supplement King! The Gyoza here is my one of my favourites~
14. Yuzen (I)
This place is one of Edmonton’s hidden gems! It is by far the best and most authentic ramen we have in Edmonton and known for their long line-ups for their limited quantity (update: They’re now known as Menya Yuzen!)
15. Snowy Village (I)
By far one of the top bingsoo places in Edmonton! I love how they use Canadian milk instead of many traditional bingsoos that use water! I’m also a big sucker for mountains of fruit and they do layers of it throughout the bingsoo so it’s not just a heap of “snow” left when you finish eating the top!
16. Ono Poke (I)
The second Poke place to open in Edmonton and we went for the grand opening! Compared to the other Poke place, Ono Poke has a lot of new surprise creations to let you try! Always keeping the menu exciting!
19. Nongbu korean Eatery (I)
This is not your usual traditional Korean restaurant. It provides a modern twist and showcases popular Korean street food~ The pork bulgogi ssam is a must!
17. Tang Bistro (I)
This place provides a nice atmosphere to enjoy hot piping spicy foods with a good selection of a variety of liquor. They have more foods that would be more different and traditional than what you may find around the city!
