Why a Food Blog?

I was sitting in the car with a special friend and scrolling through reviews on where to eat, but sometimes a 4/5 still had a comment on how the food didn’t taste that great. So then I thought, why not create a rating where people know exactly what part of the dining experience you’re rating on?! Check out our PHACTS rating for more information!

I have always loved trying out different restaurants (especially the new ones) as well as cooking! The best part for me is being able to give people recommendations of my favourite places to eat. I’m proud to say that I’ve got some people hooked on my favourite places! So with the encouragement of my lovely friends, here I am!

Please Keep in Mind…

#1 Everything I write is based on my opinion, or a mix of what others said! I am by no means an expert food critique (though if given the option to eat food and make money off of doing that for the rest of my life I would). I am an avid event planner, so I love to see which places are a perfect night out with friends!

#2 I also tend to give places I did not like the first time a couple more tries after some months have passed! So I hope to be as fair as possible!

#3 I do have a rating scale, a more detailed explanation can be found on the How to Explore page.

#4 I have a low sodium diet, so I am quite sensitive to salty foods. When I cook, I am all about balance! Balance of health, nutrition and yumminess! I’m not too good with sweets, so you will see me choose more light desserts.
